Wildpath Church is all about adventure, so in the spirit of a great adventure, we are assisting our local council during this time of ongoing health concerns by moving (for the moment) to Seaford Guide Hall, 224 Seaford Road, Seaford this coming Sunday.
Church service will run at the same time of 10.30am until further notice from government departments. The greatest reality in all of this is that God is in control; He is perfect peace!
In the interest of safety if you choose to stay at home, we are live streaming the service on the Widlpath facebook page – https://www.facebook.com/wildpathchurch/
Before, during and after our services we will also be exercising health management practices to ensure when you come through the door, you are in a safe place!
We want to inform you of the following precautionary measures we are taking for Wildpath (& turningpoint Campuses) in relation to Coronavirus COVID-19. We would greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation in these matters.
As of now, our weekend church services will be strictly limited to 100 people and until further notice, as required by our State and Federal health authorities. Our facebook live will cater for those who cannot make it to our physical service.
Our congregations will continue to gather in small groups in households mid-week.
For ongoing support our Church offices will remain open and functioning throughout the week
For your attendance to any of our services, we require you to observe the following:
If you or your child are feeling unwell please stay home and rest, seek medical attention, and you must not attend.
If you have travelled from overseas within the last 14 days, you must not attend.
If you have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive, you should have already received medical attention and been instructed to be in home isolation. Regardless of whether you have, you must not attend.
If you have a COVID-19 test result pending, you must not attend.
If you cant make it to church don't worry, we will bring church to you! Our 10:30AM service will be streamed live on our facebook page and then made available for anyone to watch any time after that. Please let your BASEcamp leaders know if you are ill so that we can pray for you and support you.
We ask that you stay informed of the risks associated with COVID-19 and act on the information regarding preventative measures, such as social distancing, as directed by the authorities. The Australian Government’s advice and information can be found at health.gov.au and also at the VIC State health authority.
One final note to emphasise, this information should not alarm or heighten any distress you may have surrounding recent developments of the novel Coronavirus. Rather, our desire is for you to be informed and know that our heart is to protect and ensure the safety of all so we can continue to worship together.
“Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling.” Psalm 91:9-10
